Snowflakes Runner
I whipped up this little runner out of navy snowflake material I found in my stash. I love navy and white. It is so crisp and clean. I quilted random concentric squares all over the white area and at the ends in the navy. It turned out great.
I used this tutorial from one of my favorite bloggers Piece N Quilt.

Machine stitched binding finally did it!
I have tried many times to machine stitch my binding with no luck at all. It always looked horrible so I would pick it out and reattach the binding on the other side of my quilt and hand stitch it down. My Juki is so wonderful that I was actually able to do it! Yeah! I'm so happy. It saves so much time and it looks great.

Diamonds
I started this quilt probably about 9 months ago. I get so frustrated when I stop working on an item. I find it so difficult to finish some quilts. The piecing was a little changeling but I got through that just fine. I started quilting the straight lines and my machine did not like it at all. I fought with my machine for awhile. Finally I decided to take it in for service. It took a solid month to get it back and my then I had moved on to another craft (I can't sit still). So when I got my new machine it was one of the things I wanted to finish first. I really liked how it turned out. I had it laying on the back of the couch to remind me to take pictures and list it on my site. More than once someone grabbed it and covered up with it. It is super warm and very snuggly and I just love the colors.
I used this tutorial from
MQG for this quilt.

Swoon
My version of Camille's Swoon. One of these days I will make a full quilt but for now I have a little mini wall hanging. I'd really like to make all of little minis that she just came up with. It's on that list!

Got my new machine! Its everything I wanted and more
After spending a fair amount of time researching which machine to buy I settled on the Juki 2010. I read a bunch of reviews and perused all my favorite blogs and decided to go with the Juki. The price was right and the throat space was huge. I am not a delicate little flower with it comes to machines. I'm more of a tug, bang, cuss kind of a person. This machine is solid steel and runs like tank!
A while back I made this Ombre Baby Quilt. I followed a design from V and Co. It turned out very nice. Of course I didn't have the right amount of the specific fabrics. I just cut and sewed what I had. And this is what I came up with. I love it.
